Op Stalker -Test and Experimentation – Ardnamurchan Dec 2023

During December 2023 we successfully completed an intensive period of arduous testing of AVT-DCE Robotic and Autonomous System (RAS)-enabling performance on current and future generation Agile platforms. Vehicles and systems were pushed to the extreme in manned and #unmanned configurations.

The venue was the #Ardnamurchan Peninsula on the West Coast of Scotland in full view and with hands-on engagement of an international audience of observers. We were blessed with suitable intervals of bad weather to complement the extreme terrain and the engagement of experienced local hills-men to help us push our technologies to their limits. Warts and all. Nothing to hide or hype. Learning hard and fast.

We were testing and demonstrating British technology, British IP and British innovation, developed and fielded with the support of British companies, all of which SMEs. We had free access to over 25,000 acres of challenging Scottish terrain thanks to the generous support of ARDNAMURCHAN ESTATES LIMITED. All on a shoe-string, all self-funded with some of the technologies hot off the press and tested in such conditions for the first time.

For those that were able to attend, our thanks for making a long trip at relatively short notice, we hope you enjoyed the event itself and the excellent local hospitality. Your input, along with learnings from testing are already influencing the design of our next generation Trident #amphibious variant and the RAS enabling technologies that will complement it.
